Changle County is located in the middle of Shandong Peninsula and belongs to Weifang City, Shandong Province. It is adjacent to Qingdao, a coastal city in the east, and Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, in the west. Qing Ji Expressway and Ji Jiao Railway run through the east and west, and Dayi Road runs through the north and south, which are 50 kilometers away from Qingji Airport/KLOC-0. The county governs 12 towns, 4 streets, 1 provincial development zones, with an area of11square kilometer and a population of 600,000. In 2005, GDP was 7.256 billion yuan, total fiscal revenue was 609 million yuan, and local fiscal revenue was 352 million yuan.

Changle County has a history of more than 3,000 years and was called Ling Ying in ancient times. There are ancient volcanic groups and 2 12 ancient cultural sites in the territory. At present, the proven and developed mineral resources include sapphire, basalt, limestone, Muyu stone, coal, clay, placer gold and other 9 categories, 25 varieties and 82 occurrences. Changle limestone reserves are 2 billion tons, including 65.438+0.5 billion tons of flux limestone, 65.438+0.4 billion tons of cement and chemical limestone, and 450 million tons of building limestone. In particular, sapphire resources are rich, and the mining area is 450 square kilometers. It is one of the rare large sapphire deposits in the world. It has the characteristics of large particles, pure color, good quality and many rare stones, and is favored by jewelry circles at home and abroad. Changle is therefore known as the "hometown of sapphires".
