It is said that there used to be many trees in this area. There were two big chestnut trees embraced by two people, and there were many magpies in the nest. There is a former general temple on the wall of Xicheng, a former general temple on the wall of Beicheng, and a white bone tower next to the temple. According to "Hefei County Records" and the old classic cloud: "Shuiximen Old West Water Pass connects Jindou River, passes through Zhengdipu and Zang Zhou Pu to Dongshuiguan." Zheng Dipu is located next to the Xiejiachi Dam on the side of the Earth Temple behind the city. Fishermen often smell Zheng Dipu's voice and fragrance at night. According to legend, Cao Cao drowned prostitutes here. There is a hidden boat grass pond opposite Xiejiachi dam, hence the name "Three Kingdoms Wei attacked Zhang Liao and Musashi warships here". "The flowers and bamboos on Pune Island are very beautiful." The Jade Emperor Ji Sheng says: "cherry orchard and Yueyun Pavilion have long been abandoned." 1June 1987, the municipal government decided to set up. In the second half of 2002, the pond was dredged and recreational facilities such as children's playground and sports activities were added.
The historical story of Zhengdibao and Zangzhoubao, two sites in the Three Kingdoms, happened in Xinghua Park. During the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, the location of Zheng Dipu and Zang Zhou Pu was also marked on the map of Hefei. Zheng Dipu is a place of entertainment and leisure in Cao Jun. According to Luyang Scenic Spots, during the war, Cao Cao and several singers took a boat trip here. The boat capsized, Cao Cao was rescued, and the young singer was swallowed up by the river. During the Three Kingdoms period, the Hong Kong branches near Xinghua Park were densely covered with reeds. When Zhang Liao was at war with Sun Quan's army, the warship was hidden here, so it was called "Hidden Boat Pu".
In Xinghua Park, the "Zhengdipu" scenic spot, which was designed by experts and rebuilt in imitation of the Han Dynasty style, has been initially restored. On the original site of the east bank of the artificial lake in Xinghua Park, a comprehensive building for tourists' leisure and dining has sprung up. According to historical records, a pavilion was built at that time, where citizens and tourists could gather to entertain themselves.
Since there are no reeds in the waters of Xinghua Park, it will take a long time to restore the "Zang Zhou Pu" scenic spot.
