The Historical Evolution of Liangcun Township
Liangcun Township was near Lechang County in the Western Han Dynasty, Changle County in the Jin Dynasty and Changzhou in the Eastern Wei Dynasty. The Sui Dynasty changed to flooding, and in the Tang Dynasty it was still called Changle, which was in the urban and rural areas. In the north of Zhai Village, it was called Liang Village in the Tang Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, there were 35 townships in the county, which are now called Jinxian Township in Shao Zhuang. Soon, the township was changed to Li, whose name was copied from the township name. In Qing Dynasty, it was changed to Li Cooperative. Liangcun township belongs to the fifth district. Liangcun Township was established in 1956, and the township government office is located in Liangcun, which is one of the 12 townships in the county. 1958, the township was changed to the people's commune, and Liangcun Township was subsequently changed from Liangcun to Liangcun Pudong. 1984, commune changed to township.
