Why is Li He called by later generations?
Li He is a representative of the Romantic poets in Tang Dynasty. Because of his unpredictable and fantastic poetic style, he was called "Shi Gui" by later generations.

Li He, the word is long and auspicious. A native of Guxiang County, Fuchang County, Henan Province, his ancestral home is Longxi County. Li He, who was born in an imperial clan, read a lot of poetry books since he was a child. He was already famous in Beijing at the age of fifteen, and his poems written at the age of eighteen were even more famous. At the age of 19, he visited Han Yu with his poem Wild Goose Gate, which was brilliant. However, due to bad luck, I failed to get into the Jinshi exam, which is not in line with my talent. During this period, I wrote many angry poems to express my restless ambitions.

It was just a coincidence that I was recommended to be an ancestral shadow official, Ren Fenglilang, following the Do. After that, he was imprisoned in Chang 'an for three years. During his three years in office, Li He was deeply impressed, went deep into social observation and made some like-minded friends. Everyone talked about poetry and current affairs, and had a deeper understanding of the social situation at that time. Although Li He's official life is not satisfactory, his rich experience in this period has brought his creation to a higher level, and he has created a series of poems that reflect reality and lash the darkness with unpredictable gestures. He left many works handed down from generation to generation for future generations, leaving the most mysterious chapter in the history of China civilization.

However, due to years of stagnation and hard work, Li He was overwhelmed and died young, which was really embarrassing.
