According to historical records, Chen Xian was a scholar in Yuanfeng seven years in the Northern Song Dynasty. He was appointed as an official of the Ministry of Industry, assistant minister of rites and editor of Chinese books by the Hanlin Academy, and his wife Jia was appointed as his wife by the court.
Chen, an expert who participated in the cultural relics investigation, told the reporter that according to the genealogy of Chen brought back by Kengtou Village in Nancun Town, Shaxu Village in Shiqiao Street and Chigang Village in Shilou Town, and the descendants of Chen who moved to Peru, Chen Xian was the19th grandson of Chen Xuande, a former general of the Eastern Jin Dynasty who settled in Kengtou Village (later generations changed his name to "Yuan De" because he avoided the Qing Dynasty). His father is Chen Yuefu and his grandfather is Chen Rong.
Song Huizong gave Chen Xian a precious inkstone.
The Genealogy of Shaxu Village records an anecdote of Chen Xian and Song Huizong Evonne: the royal gift of Chen Xian from Hui Zong Emperor Zeng Zeng was "Bao Qingtian inkstone", and a five-character poem engraved on the back of the inkstone was given to him: "The horse is famous for its meritorious service and its name is Yuli Township; Benevolent people live a long life, and benevolent people celebrate their day.
Stone eyes and stars, pool heart washing day; The study is an iron inkstone, outside the center. "The poem clearly shows that alternated to Chen Xian's character is very praise.
Therefore, the ancestral hall is also called "Baoyantang".
The "Qingtian" and "Washing the Sun" on the plaque in Qingyun Lane also came from here.
After liberation, "Baoyantang" was used as a school for a long time.
