Millennium ancient town white
An original ecological ancient town with a history of thousands of years by Erhai Lake. The largest and best Bai folk houses are preserved here. There are not many tourists, but they still retain the simple and natural life atmosphere.
Food recommendation: Xizhou Baba (also known as Su Po) is a kind of wheat flour scone with good color, smell and taste. It is a kind of flavor snack in Dali urban and rural areas, and it is most famous for the traditional Baba of Xizhou Bai people.
Recommended attractions: Yangpin Xiangzhai, Yan Jia Courtyard, Houjia Courtyard, etc. It not only maintains the characteristics of traditional Bai folk houses, but also integrates Chinese and western architectural techniques.

Shaxi town
The surviving market on the ancient tea-horse road
Shaxi, located in Jianchuan County, Dali Prefecture, was praised by the United Nations as "the only surviving market on the ancient tea-horse road". If Shuhe was Old Town of Lijiang 10 years ago, this is Lijiang 20 years ago, with the same alleys and flowing water, only more simple and mellow.
Food recommendation: Eight bowls of earth and hospitality are the virtues of the Bai people in Jianchuan. Whenever guests from afar arrive, they are often given a sumptuous banquet-eight bowls of earth.
Recommended scenic spot: Xingjiao Temple, built in the 13th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (14 15), is the only existing Bai Buddhist temple in China in Ming Dynasty.
taoyuan village
Double cloisters opposite the quiet old village.
In a small village near Erhai Lake, the local Bai people live a quiet life. They work at sunrise and rest at sunset. Sitting in the courtyard of the inn, opposite the endless scenery of Erhai Lake, is a place suitable for staring blankly.
The state town on the edge of butterfly spring is a village inhabited by Bai people. Bai women in the village are especially good at tie-dyeing and embroidery. Almost "every family has a dye vat and every household has tie-dyeing", so it has the reputation of the hometown of tie-dyeing.
Recommended scenic spots: Among many scenic spots in Dali, butterfly spring is a bright pearl. It is not only beautiful in scenery and touching in legend, but also a sacred place symbolizing love and loyalty in the eyes of the Bai people.
Longkan village
Location of Heart Flowers on the Road
One of the closest small villages to Dali ancient city by Erhai Lake. In the evening, the dragon niche pier and ferry closed for a day. There were no tour groups and few people on the pier, so it was beautiful to sit and watch the sunset in Erhai Lake.
Tip: it's beautiful to pat casually in the alley, and the Shanghai scenery by the seaside B&B is invincible. The focus is on fresh air, good coastal water quality and no garbage. Suggest staying here.
Caicun village
The best place to watch the sunrise
The famous "Flower Sea" in Dali is close to Erhai Lake and the ancient city of Dali, and the scenery is as beautiful as heaven. The pier in Cai Village is a good place to shoot the sunrise. Remember not to miss this stop when cycling around Erhai Lake.
Traffic tip: take bus no.2 to the north gate of the ancient city and get off at the village center station. Drive → start from the east gate of the ancient city, go north along Dali Highway and turn to Erhai Lake, about 30 minutes.
