What does Zhu Yuanzhang look like?
In history, Zhu Yuanzhang, the founder of the Ming Dynasty, was described as "covering his knees with both hands and hanging his shoulders".

We can imagine Zhu Yuanzhang with our present knowledge. His arms are very long, and when he stands, his hands will fall below his knees. Ears are big, too They can hang down to your shoulders and you can see your ears.

According to China's aesthetic standards since ancient times, this is obviously an ugly appearance. Then why do people still describe it like this?

In fact, this is not only not uglifying him, but also beautifying him.

Because "hands over knees" is one of the "32 phases" of Buddha.

"Big earlobe shoulder" is one of the Buddha's "eighty kinds of goodness".

Therefore, it is a great compliment that Zhu Yuanzhang has a Buddha's face.

There are certain standards for the physical characteristics of the Buddha, that is, the so-called thirty-two phases and eighty goodness.

Thirty-two phases, also known as thirty-two adult phases and thirty-two gentleman phases, refer to the thirty-two obvious physical characteristics of the Buddha. According to the Buddhist classic "On Great Wisdom", the thirty-two phases are the so-called one-step peace phase, one-step two-wheel phase, forehand rubbing knee phase and so on.

Eighty kinds of goodness, also known as 80 kinds of micro-images, 80 kinds of subtleties and 80 kinds of shapes, refer to 80 different but not obvious physical characteristics of Buddha.

The description of Zhu Yuanzhang in history is "hands over knees, ears over shoulders", implying that Zhu Yuanzhang is the incarnation of Buddha.

On behalf of the Buddha, unify the world, save the people from fire and water, and save all beings from suffering.

You people who want to rebel, put an end to bad intentions and submit to Zhu Yuanzhang as soon as possible.
