Classical Chinese is the written language of ancient Chinese, which has been used for a long time, from the pre-Qin to the late Qing Dynasty, about the 5th century BC to19th century. In different historical periods, the usage and style of classical Chinese have also changed. In different periods, classical Chinese has different names, such as classical Chinese in pre-Qin period, ancient Chinese in Han dynasty and classical Chinese in Tang dynasty.
