The sun of Mount Tai, the water flowing west; Its yin helps water flow eastward. All the sunny valleys are in Brunei, and all the shady valleys are in economy. When divided into north and south, the ancient Great Wall is also. The highest peak, south of the Great Wall 15 miles.

In December of the thirty-ninth year of Qianlong, I braved a snowstorm from Beijing, crossed Qihe River and Changqing, crossed the northwest valley of Thailand and crossed the Great Wall to Tai 'an. When they got on the boat, the county magistrate Zhu and Zi Ying boarded the boat from the south foot. Forty-five miles, the road is all paved with stones, more than 7 thousand. There are three valleys due south of Mount Tai, the middle valley is around Tai 'anmen, and it doesn't matter that Li Island is surrounded by water. I started walking along the road, and the road was less than half gone. I crossed the ridge in the middle and followed the valley in the west, and then I reached the top of it. In ancient times, climbing a mountain and following the East Valley was Tianmen. The East Valley was called Tianmenxi in ancient times, so I can't get there. Today, those who cross the mountains and climb the cliffs are limited to the Tao, and the world is called Tianmen Cloud. The road is foggy, slippery and difficult to climb. On the other hand, Cangshan is covered with snow, and the southern candle is bright. In the evening, when you look at the Rizhao city wall, it is picturesque and bustling, while the fog in the Mid-Levels is natural.

Wu Shenhui, Wugu and Ziying are sitting in the pavilion waiting for the sunrise. The wind and snow hit the noodles, the pavilion was self-sufficient, and dozens of people stood in the misty Shan Ye. The sky is full of different colors and becomes colorful in an instant. In the morning, it is as red as Dan, and there is red light under it. Shake it, or, this East China Sea is also. Looking back at the Japanese view, whether it's Xifeng, whether it's heaven or refutation, all of them are compassionate.

There are Dai Temple and Yuan Jun Temple in the west of Tingxi. The emperor's palace is in the east of Yuan Jun Temple in Bi Xia. It is the day when Taoist stone carvings have been lost since Tang Xianqing. You can't go if you don't get in the way.

The mountain is rocky, but there is almost no soil. The stone is black, square and round. There are few miscellaneous trees, many pine trees and many original stones, all of which are flat-topped. Ice and snow, no waterfalls, no sounds of birds and animals. There are no trees during the day, but the snow is knee-high.

South of Mount Tai, Wenxi River flows; North of Mount Tai, Jishui flows east. The water in the southern Yanggu River flows into the Wenhe River, and the water in the northern Yin Valley flows into Jishui. Just at the boundary of the North-South Valley is the ancient Great Wall. The highest peak is located at 15 miles south of the Great Wall.

I set out from Beijing in December of the thirty-ninth year of Qianlong, braved the snowstorm, passed Qihe County and Changqing County, crossed the valley in the northwest of Mount Tai, crossed the border of the Great Wall and arrived in Tai 'an. On the last day of this month, Zhu Congshan, the magistrate of Tai 'an, and I climbed the mountain at the southern foot. After walking forty-five miles, the road is full of stone steps, with more than seven thousand steps. There are three valleys just south of Mount Tai, and the water in that valley surrounds Tai 'an City, which is what Li Daoyuan said in his book. I started walking along the middle valley. I walked less than half the way, crossed the ridge, and then walked along the valley in the west to reach the top of Mount Tai. In ancient times, climb Mount Tai and enter along the East Valley. There is a Tianmen on the road. The valley in the east, called "Tianmenxi" in ancient times, is something I have never been to. The mountains and peaks that pass by now are cliffs that block the road like thresholds. People all over the world call them "Tianmen" The road is foggy and icy, and the stone steps are almost impossible to climb. When I reached the top of the mountain, I saw the dark blue mountain covered with snow, and the bright snow light shone in the southern sky. Looking from a distance, the sunset reflects Tai 'an City. Wenshui and Culai Mountain are like a beautiful landscape painting, and the clouds staying halfway up the mountain are like a dancing ribbon.

May Day is the last day of December. At the fifth watch, Zhu and I sat on the gazebo, waiting to see the sunrise. At this time, the snowflake raised by the strong wind hit my face. From the soles of your feet to the east of the pavilion, there are misty clouds. It is faintly visible that dozens of small white spots in the cloud stand there like "five wood" dice, all of which are distant mountains. There is a strange color on the clouds on the horizon, and then they become colorful. The sun is rising, pure red as cinnabar, and red light is swaying and holding it. Some people say it's the East China Sea. Looking back, we can see the peak to the west of Sun Peak. Some are illuminated by the sun, others are not. There are purplish red ones and pale white ones, with different shades, and they all look like their backs are bent.

There are Dongyue Emperor Temple and Bi Xia Yuan Jun Temple in the west of Riguan Pavilion. The emperor's palace is in the east of Yuan Jun Temple in Bi Xia. On this day, I saw the stone tablets carved on both sides of the road, since the reign of Tang Xianqing. Those ancient stone tablets can't be wiped off. As for those remote stone tablets that are not on the roadside, I haven't had time to look at them.

There are more stones on the mountain, but less soil. The rocks are blue-black, mostly flat and square, and rarely round. There are few miscellaneous trees, mostly pine trees. Pine trees all grow in cracks in stones, and their tops are flat. Ice and snow, no waterfalls and streams, no sounds and traces of birds and animals. There are no trees for miles near the Sun Peak, and the snow is knee-deep.
