The development of history
Shiping Mountain belonged to Jizhou in Tang Dynasty, Bingzhou in Yu Shun's time, Changshan State in Eastern Han Dynasty, Changshan County in Three Kingdoms, Hengshan County in the early Sui Dynasty and Fangshan County later. In the first year of Tang Suzong (756), Xiping and Fangshan were both Pingshan County.

Pingshan Town covers an area of 109 square kilometers and has a population of 76,468. The town government is located in Pingshan City with the postal code of 050400. [Division] There are 63 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Nanguan and Nanjie. (Evolution) Pingshan Town is located in Pingshan County.
