The Historical Evolution of Pinghe No.4 Middle School
At the beginning of the establishment of No.4 Middle School, the site was temporarily borrowed from Daxi Houshi Primary School and Hufeng Primary School, with 65,438 students and 3 teachers. 1959 moved to anhou xiaping farm in February. In May of the same year, the school site was chosen in Centipede Ocean. Two months later, eight classrooms and three dormitories with civil structures were completed, and the school moved from the farm to the new teaching building. After the school building collapsed, it was forced to suspend classes for a period of time. The following year, students enrolled 160, including 256 students in 5 classes and 0/3 staff.

From 1959 to 1963, all the teachers and students of the school made great efforts to expand the school building. Dig wells, build kitchens, build toilets, shovel mountains and open playgrounds. 1962 has eight red brick teaching buildings on the second floor, covering an area of 622 square meters. Later, simple laboratories, libraries, exercise rooms and clinics were established.

During the Cultural Revolution, the school was renamed Anhou Middle School. School buildings were occupied, and schools were scattered in Anhou, Shankou, Ma Shuang and Longtou. 1June, 975, the school building was returned to Anhou Middle School. 1984, the school was renamed "Pinghe No.4 Middle School". In the following ten years, the school has undergone several major transformations, and the conditions for running a school have been greatly improved. Construction 12 classroom teaching building, 20 classroom teachers' dormitory, 535 square meters canteen. It also built a 700-meter fence and a 540-meter-wide and 5-meter-wide school road. 1989 1022 m2 "new teaching building". 1997 completed 1600 m2 "comprehensive building". 1September, 1999, the green area of the campus is more than 2,000 square meters. In 2002, the "Comprehensive Building" was put into use, and in September 2000, the most advanced and largest "Pinghe No.4 Middle School Information Technology Training Center" was established in the county.
