1935 10, the Red Army successfully arrived in northern Shaanxi on the Long March. The victory of the Long March is the key to the turning point of China revolution and the beginning of a new situation of China revolution. Since then, the Red Army has shouldered the great mission of resisting Japan and saving the nation. In late October, under the leadership of the Party and Comrade Mao Zedong, the Red Army prepared to cross the Yellow River eastward. At the beginning of February, Comrade Mao Zedong led troops to Yuanjiagou, Qingjian County, northern Shaanxi, a small mountain village less than half a day's journey from the Yellow River.
