The history of carving snake tablets
In order to commemorate the first emperor, Emperor Wendi built the Gaozu Temple in front of Zixiao Mountain (where Emperor Gaozu lived in seclusion), and set up a snake-cutting monument in front of the temple. But the snake tablet has long since disappeared.

Later, a monument of the Ming Dynasty was rebuilt on the original monument. The monument is 2.39m high,1.15m wide and 0.22m thick. The inscription reads "the sun and the moon" and "the land where Henkel cut snakes". This pedestal is very big. 1983, due to the age, poor protection and incomplete inscriptions, a new monument was built to imitate the lighting monument. The front of the monument is engraved with the original inscription, and the yin of the monument is engraved with the reasons for the monument. In order to protect the new monument, there is also an antique hexagonal pavilion with a height of 4.2 meters, which is simple and elegant.
