The history of white coffee
Perak is located in the northern and central parts of Malaysia Peninsula, and is one of the thirteen states in Malaysia. There are two quaint towns here, one is Ipoh and the other is Taiping. As a city where modernity and tradition meet, these two places have world-famous authentic food, magnificent natural attractions and architectural landmarks that will never fail. They are one of the cities you must visit!

Chicken with sprouts

Chicken with sprouts is a typical food in Ipoh Old Street. Many tourists mistakenly think it is a combination of "chicken and sprouts". Actually, they are served separately, but the two foods are more delicious when served together than when eaten separately. The local people, especially the underground water containing minerals, will make bean sprouts particularly thick, crisp and sweet, which is a taste that can't be eaten anywhere else.

Flat white

White coffee originated in the old street of Ipoh, Malaysia, and has a history of half a century. White coffee doesn't mean white coffee, but it is roasted at low temperature by a special method, which minimizes the bitterness and sourness of coffee, retains the original color and aroma of coffee, and also achieves a less sour, less bitter and less astringent flavor. If you don't drink coffee with milk when you come to Ipoh, it's for nothing!

Paridon

There are many large limestone caves in the north of Ipoh, which are places for monks to meditate and practice. Thunderbolt Cave is one of them.

There is a sitting statue of Sakyamuni here, and there are more than 100 murals on the cliff in the cave. You can spend some time here enjoying the Buddhist scriptures of the Eighteen Arhats and Tang Sanzang, or you can walk along the 385 steps to the open space outside the cave and have a bird's eye view of the beautiful Ipoh City.

Sanbaodong

Sambo Cave, located in the cave temple of Ipoh Cape Mountain, is a peaceful and quiet tourist resort with the theme of Buddhism. The cave here is a stalactite cave. Climb the steep steps of 246 steps to the top of the grottoes, and you can have a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery of Ipoh.

Taiping Lake Park

Taiping Lake Park is the oldest lakeside park in Malaysia, which was established during the British rule in Malaysia. At that time, due to the exhaustion of tin mining, an abandoned mine lake was left. After decades of development, it has now become a combination of natural beauty and artificial beauty.

There are eight representative scenic spots in the picturesque Taiping Lake Park, which are collectively called "Eight Scenes of Taiping Lake", namely, iron riding to find incense, Huanggang listening to apes, Quqiao and other moons, clear water and red lotus, bamboo music, Pingtang fishing alone, spring island feeling and green arm catching waves, which are deeply loved by tourists.

Teluk intan bell tower

An antique leaning tower of Anshun stands in the center of Anshun, Perak. It used to be used to store water, but later it stopped because the building was deeply buried in the soil. Now it has become a local landmark building, and colorful lights are lit on the leaning tower every night, which is particularly beautiful.

The leaning tower in Anshun has a history of 100 years. This is a rare design of China Pagoda in Malaysia. It looks like an eight-story building, but in fact it has only four floors. There is a big clock at the top of the leaning tower, so the locals also call it the big bell tower.

Madenghong Forest Reserve

Madeng mangrove forest reserve is located in Perak 18 Ding, where the largest mangrove forest in Malay Peninsula is preserved.

At the same time, due to proper management, it has gained international recognition and is regarded as one of the countries with the best mangrove management in the world.

As an important natural ecological reserve, this mangrove forest also breeds various mammals, birds, fish, fireflies and so on.

Ornamental fireflies

Eighteen Ding is the place with the largest number of fireflies in Malaysia, and it is also the largest firefly viewing and breeding area. In the evening, the shipping union at the dock takes tourists to the viewing area to enjoy the fireflies hiding in mangroves, just like shining stars illuminating the dark sky.
