Greater China Restaurant was established on 1930. The main founder is Zhang Zaishou, an Anhui native. The original address of the restaurant is Pengliuyang Road 196, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and it has a history of 83 years. 1930, Zhang Zaishou and others jointly opened Wuxiangzhai Restaurant in Zhimaling (now opposite Wuchang Post Office on Penglu Road) and renamed it "Huizhou Greater China Restaurant". This Huibang restaurant is the predecessor of the Great China Restaurant, which became famous all over the country.

1932 Due to road construction in Wuchang, Sesame Ridge Restaurant was demolished, and "Greater China Restaurant" was moved to Bai Zi Lane, Wuchang, with the address of No.7 Penglu1. According to the research of Wuhan Archives, Greater China Restaurant was registered as "Greater China Restaurant" in October of 1932 (the 21st year of the Republic of China).
