Historical Evolution of Seven Small Arch Scenic Spots
The name of Qixiaopaifang Scenic Area comes from a seven-hole ancient bridge built in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty. The ancient bridge spans the beautiful Xiangshui River, which is the main road from southern Guizhou to Guangxi in ancient times. The whole Seven Arch Scenic Area integrates mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes and waterfalls. There are soft and quiet Hanbitan, Laya Waterfall, 68 waterfalls with staggered waterfalls, intertwined water forests in northern Guangxi and forest streams, Yuanyang Lake and Wolong Lake embedded in dense forests. The charming Xiangshui River runs through the whole scenic spot. It is as quiet as a delicate flower and as moving as a dragon out to sea.
