Originally named Luling and Jizhou, Ji 'an was renamed Ji 'an in the early Yuan Dynasty, meaning "Ji Tai and Min 'an". Ji 'an City is located in the middle of Jiangxi Province and the middle reaches of Ganjiang River. Topographically, it belongs to the middle of the Luo Xiao Mountains and is the throat passage of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces. The whole city is about 2 18km long from east to west and 208km wide, with a total area of 2527 1 km2.
Ji 'an has jurisdiction over Jizhou District, Qingyuan District, Jinggangshan City and Ji 'an County, Taihe County, wanan county, suichuan county, Yongxin County, Yongfeng County, Jishui County, Xiajiang County, Anfu County and Xingan County, and 1 and 10 County. The municipal government is located in Jizhou District.
The development of history
During the Xia and Shang Dynasties, it belonged to Ganyue, the western border of Yangzhou.
The Zhou Dynasty belonged to Wu Yuechu.
In the twenty-sixth year of Qin Shihuang (the first 22 years1year), the original site was luling county, belonging to Jiujiang county (the county is now Chengguan Town, Shouchun County, Lu 'an City, Anhui Province).
In the first year of Emperor Gaozu of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC), Qin died, and Chu and Han fought for hegemony. Ying Bu was the king of Jiujiang, and Luling County belonged to Jiujiang. In the fifth year of Emperor Gaozu (the first 202 years), after Guan Ying crossed the river to pacify Chu, he analyzed Jiujiang County and established Zhangyu County (now Nanchang County), 18 County, and Luling County belonged to Zhangyu County.
In the first year of the founding of the People's Republic of China (9 years), Zhang Yu County was changed to Jiujiang County (the county is still in Nanchang today), and Luling County was changed to Huanting County.
In the first year of Jianwu in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25 years), Huanting County was renamed Luling County.
In the 10th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (590), Luling County was changed to Jizhou and moved to Zhaogongtang area of Ji 'an City. In the third year of Daye (607), Jizhou was renamed Luling County, unifying Luling, Taihe, Anfu and Xingan counties.
In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), Ji 'an government was abolished, and the Lotus Hall was changed to a county, and each county was directly under Jiangxi Province; In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), Luling Road was located in Yichun, and Longquan, Yongning and Luling counties were renamed Suichuan, Ninggang and Ji 'an respectively.
