It is China's first comprehensive and readable book on the history of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

brief Introduction of the content

The history of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries began more than 10,000 years ago before the continental bridge was submerged, and our ancestors may have exported immigrant culture to neighboring island countries. There is a rumor from Shi Chai that Yin people traveled across the ocean, from Xuanzang's western learning to Matteo Ricci's eastward spread-all the way, through the two Silk Roads, immigration, folk trade and official envoys, telling the story of China culture and foreign culture. Today, with the general trend of globalization promoting the great convergence and integration of world cultures, it is of great significance to review the cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries in history and reproduce those touching historical scenes.
