People in every era have different understandings of their hometown. There are 46 students in this class. What do they know about the history of their hometown? To this end, the author designed a social survey activity with the theme of "How much do I know about my hometown-going into a beautiful hometown" in combination with the reality of rural primary schools, aiming at improving students' ability to collect, process and use information. As soon as the activity was announced, it aroused great interest of the students, but everyone didn't know how to proceed. To this end, the author organized a seminar on pre-project activities to help students understand the purpose of this activity and guide students to discuss how to do social investigation. At the seminar, the students expressed their opinions, some said they would go out to visit, some said they would send questionnaires, and some said they would look up information on the Internet ... Through discussion, the students understood the requirements of the activity and finally determined the form and content of the activity: they entered their hometown in the form of small teams, investigated the culture or history of their hometown in various ways, and formed a written investigation report based on the above investigations. To this end, I designed a questionnaire to investigate their understanding of the history of their hometown. I made a survey with a questionnaire star. There were 46 students in the class, and 39 questionnaires were collected, with a recovery rate of 84.7%. I sorted out and analyzed the problems one by one, and only 30.77% of the students knew the history of the village to varying degrees. 82.05% students don't know the age of their village, 66.67% students don't know their ancestors, 7 students have clear answers to celebrities in the village, and 4 students have detailed answers to folk stories in the village. 100% of students have a clear choice about the customs of the Spring Festival. However, from these data, we can see that students still lack a good understanding of the history and culture of their hometown. They live in the village every day, but they don't know how they came from. I don't know who my ancestors were. But when asked if the current students would like to know, most of them are very interested.
In the process of questionnaire survey and visiting abroad, students learned to do things, use their brains, investigate and visit, and learn to collect and process information; In the action of small groups, students learn to cooperate and communicate, learn to choose and supplement, and their ability to collect and process information is greatly improved. Only by knowing your hometown can you love your hometown and even build it when you grow up. The author believes that cultivating students from an early age with a strong sense of social responsibility, patriotism, love for home and school, starting from the little things around them and doing their part to realize the Chinese dream, this is the true meaning of the feelings of home and country.
Second, awaken students' feelings of home and country in common reading.
Professor Ye Lan expressed the essence of educational practice of the "life practice" education school: "Education is a human life career based on life, facing life directly, for life and through life." Life is the "soul" of education, practice is the "action" of education, and education is a human practical activity full of human life. [2] In order to have a more accurate understanding of hometown and awaken students' feelings of loving hometown, the author completed "Hello in Winter Holiday! The design of "exploring ancient villages and understanding the changes of hometown" In the class WeChat group, an announcement about organizing a group to explore ancient villages was posted, and 19 families were invited to participate. Parents and students are familiar with the history, culture, anecdotes and folk stories of Shanxiabao village on the basis of reading "Bao under the Mountain" in the Millennium ancient village. The development expectation brought by the awakening of parents' self-awareness has become the force for students to move forward and lead them to interact with the outside world.
Later, I learned and understood the history of the ancient village by organizing reading activities and special knowledge competitions. The ancestral temple in the ancient village is an important historical witness of the village, which contains the spirit of hard struggle, perseverance and innovation of the people in the ancient village. It is an important resource for educating the young people to love their hometown and a valuable historical and cultural heritage. Organize children to explore the ancestral temple culture of ancient villages, listen carefully to the lecturers, let students visit with questions, and combine study tour with reading activities and thematic knowledge contests. And through organizing special speech contests, publicity activities and prize-winning essay competitions with the theme of I love my family, we can inspire the enthusiasm of the vast number of young people to study hard, make progress and return to their hometown to serve the motherland. Start with small things, inherit the national spirit and awaken the feelings of hometown. Through the above series of educational activities, we can increase students' pride and interest in learning, improve students' learning effect, cultivate students' feelings of loving their hometown, and cultivate students' core literacy of feelings about home and country.
Third, cultivate students' feelings of home and country in the activities.
One thing can be related to many themes, and it can be infinitely derived and developed in the sense of time. This requires us to analyze the inextricable links behind things and turn rich values into the reality of children's development. Organize parents and students to carry out the activity of "exploring abalone under the mountain of ancient village" on the basis of reading the book "Abalone under the mountain of ancient village". On the basis of reading comprehension, parents and students have a certain theoretical understanding of Abalone under the Mountain. Second, exploring the planning of ancient villages, the formation of interview questions, and the interview process, from acceptance and support to participation and guidance, have more and more connotations, and the awareness of home-school cooperation is deepening and developing.
(A) the historical beauty of hometown
By organizing students to consult Tu's genealogy, interviewing the elderly in the village, we can understand the history of our hometown. Before the interview, the students volunteered to form a group to discuss and determine the interview questions, and make good division of labor arrangements, including interviewers, recorders, sorting and summarizing, etc. In the process of consulting genealogy and interviewing the elderly, students learned to do things, use their brains, investigate and interview, and learn to collect and process information. In the action of small groups, students learn to cooperate and communicate, and learn to choose and supplement. After the activity, each group handed in the investigation report, and the information collected by the expedition provided valuable clues for the follow-up activities.
Expedition: The leader led us to consult the Tu family tree and learned that there were many Bao families under the mountain, so it was called the Bao family under the mountain. It was built in the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty (1723- 1735). According to records, during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, Tu Guowen, the ancestor of the Tujia family, came to Shuangxi Underwater Village from Changting, Fujian Province, met a woman named Baoliang at the foot of the mountain and married her son-in-law. He first lived in an underwater village, and later moved to Bao village at the foot of the mountain, planted indigo and became a family. The main income of Xiabao villagers is tea and camellia oleifera. Because it is located in the mountainous area, there is no industrial base in the village, and young adults often work outside and run supermarkets all the year round. And only go home on holidays. [3] The children of the Elf Team, led by the team leader Wang Yixun, visited Tu Lizhong, 84, and Tu, 88. The interview activities not only exercised students' language organization and expression ability, but also got a deeper understanding of their hometown, and learned that Shanxiabao, a small village, developed rapidly after the founding of New China. Now it is the birthplace of supermarket economy in Wuyi County. There are more than 1 10 supermarkets in Shanxiabao Village. Pan Fafa, a villager from Shanxiabao and a native of CPPCC, founded the "Wankelong" brand with 45 supermarket chains, and successfully joined other supermarkets to become a respected competitor of Wal-Mart.
The beauty of architecture in my hometown
There are 3 1 historic buildings in Xiabao Village, including 28 buildings in Qing Dynasty and 3 buildings in Republic of China. There are 3 1 historic buildings in Xiabao Village, Minshan County, including 28 buildings in Qing Dynasty and 3 buildings in Republic of China, which are mainly residential buildings, including ancestral temples, bridges, temples and ancient wells. Although the historical buildings in Shanxiabao Village are small in scale, they pay attention to decoration, carving figures, flowers, birds and auspicious animals in conspicuous places such as beams, beams and lintels. The doors and windows are beautifully carved, and murals are generally painted under the eaves of the courtyard walls, which have a wide range of themes and vivid expressions, reflecting the people's value orientation and enlightenment consciousness of spiritual aesthetics. Such antique Huizhou architecture has attracted many college students to sketch. Such a beautiful hometown, should we do something?
The author organized a meeting on "How much do you know about the architecture in your hometown", and asked the students to talk about the feelings of seeing the architecture in your hometown, write their own experiences and draw the beautiful scenery in your hometown. Some students also compiled and drew handwritten newspapers about their hometown after returning home. This form encourages students to learn to sum up and reflect. Many students saw their own shortcomings and problems while learning about their hometown, and put forward opinions and suggestions to further improve their practical activities. At the same time, the author uploaded the photos of this activity to the class WeChat group. Parents are very satisfied with their children's performance and think it is a meaningful off-campus education activity: some parents think that such root-seeking activities make children understand that they should love their hometown from an early age; Some parents believe that root-seeking activities can make children close to nature and rural areas, which is conducive to cultivating students' feelings of home and country.
(C) the beauty of hometown skills
Abalone has a long history. It grows indigo and breeds into a family. Today, there are still indigo pond ruins in the fields at the end of the village, in order to let children feel the wisdom of their ancestors and get rich. We visited the site of Indigo Pond together, looking for the specific place where Indigo was made, and also learned about the steps, historical significance and why it was weak from the elderly over 80 years old in the village. After everyone's exploration, I know that indigo pond is a way for abalone people at the foot of the mountain to get rich. Later, due to traffic congestion, the number of growers declined and was gradually replaced by other industries. In a series of root-seeking practice activities, students' abilities of investigation and exploration, organizational innovation, communication and cooperation, and information processing have been improved to varying degrees.
Fourth, strengthen students' feelings of home and country in the extension activities.
(A) expert exchange and innovation activities
Lei Guoqiang, director of the Education Department of the County Education Bureau, is the author of the book Bow at the Foot of a Thousand-year-old Village, and has a profound insight into the ancestral temple culture of ancient villages. After reading this book together, parents and children have a certain understanding of the history and culture of their hometown through root-seeking homework. The teacher invited Director Lei to talk about genealogy knowledge with parents, so that the activities could be innovated in the exchange of experts.
(B) Parents and students have changed their emotional attitudes towards the history and culture of their hometown.
Hometown is not an abstract word, but is composed of many people, many landscapes, many stories and many scenes, and it is a fusion of feelings and memories of many contents. From exploring ancient villages to knowing and loving their hometown, students' emotional attitude towards the history and culture of their hometown has changed greatly. The author made a post-test on a questionnaire about knowing and loving hometown, aiming at investigating their understanding of hometown history. I used a question-and-answer star to investigate the whole class, and 46 students in the class recovered 42 questionnaires, with a recovery rate of 9 1.3%. I sorted out and analyzed the problems one by one, and 86.9% of the students had a certain understanding of the development history of the village. 95.6% of the students talked about the idea of future village construction. All the 43 children in the class feel happy and like living in their own village. Twenty-five students gave clear answers to the celebrities in the village, and 18 students gave detailed answers to the folk stories in the village. One side nourishes the other, and personal achievements cannot be separated from the nourishment of hometown culture. Knowing more about the historical events in hometown will enhance personal feelings for hometown, understand the history of hometown and enhance the sense of identity with regional culture. Judging from the results of the questionnaire, parents and children are quite happy and satisfied with their hometown.
(c) Parents and students have increased their understanding of the history and culture of their hometown.
From the process of activities, it is not difficult to find that students are involved in understanding the history and culture of their hometown under the leadership of their parents. The more parents pay attention to this activity, the greater the child's gains. They learned about their hometown's history, surnames, local customs and customs, and the relationship between their historical changes and the founding of New China by visiting, consulting materials and visiting on the spot. Through this activity, many parents have never paid attention to the history of their hometown, gained a preliminary understanding and made great changes. This activity has also played a role in refracting and driving parents in other places. One of the parents in Henan learned about the historical significance of Shangqiu by consulting materials. By consulting the genealogy, I found that I was actually from the same village as Zhuangzi. After he knew it, he immediately shared it with the class, which triggered more parents to explore their hometown. He also gave the perfect answer to the homework I assigned. I sent his answer as the best reference answer to the class WeChat group for parents' reference. A new understanding of their hometown will form a series of cognitive effects, which will lay the foundation for them to take root, study and build their hometown in the future. This is the biggest gain that this activity has brought to them.
(D) Experience extended activities and highlight the effectiveness of reflection.
After a semester, a series of class activities were carried out under the joint planning and organization of parents. After a semester, a series of class activities were carried out under the joint planning and organization of my parents, and the children's literacy in all aspects was developed in the activities. Carry out national day activities with the theme of patriotism and hometown love. Children walk into the streets, scenic spots and revolutionary martyrs memorial halls to feel the strength of the motherland and the hard-won good life. Enter the nursing home on the Double Ninth Festival, care for the elderly and help the disadvantaged groups; In winter vacation, "take care of the elderly, explore ancient villages and see children's hometown" ... Through practical activities, students' investigation ability, innovation ability, communication and cooperation ability and information processing ability have been improved to varying degrees. It can be seen that practical activities, as an innovative form of the connection between school education and social education, are effective ways to guide students out of the classroom, into nature and into society, and to cultivate and improve students' core literacy. During the holidays, the formation and development of students' feelings and responsibilities for their hometown and community include the development of students themselves and the development of the world around them. This development has brought flexibility and richness to life.
According to the focus of textbooks, students, parents and teachers will benefit from effectively carrying out extracurricular activities. Through root-seeking activities, students can experience in self-practice, feel and think in the experience, constantly judge and correct their own thoughts and behaviors, so as to continuously improve and progress, and students' feelings of loving their hometown are effectively stimulated and sublimated.
