Where does Yang's Tusi ancestral hall belong?
Yangjia Tusi Ancestral Temple is a cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province.

There is a quadrangle named Yangjia Ancestral Temple in Laochang Township, tianquan county, which has experienced the prosperity, decline and loneliness of 100 years.

As a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit, after Lushan earthquake, in the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, the local cultural department combined with the historical details of Yangjia ancestral hall to build the ancestral hall into a provincial-level demonstration township comprehensive cultural station.

In the flat dam surrounded by mountains in Laochang Township, tianquan county, the river flows quietly at the edge of the town, and the sound of reading comes from the old street in Laochang Township.

Follow the sound of reading, walk into the river bank, cross a bamboo forest, cross a small bridge and walk down a narrow old street. Next to the Central Primary School in Laochang Township is the Yangjia Ancestral Temple.

Wooden pillar stone carving:

Exquisite craftsmanship of ancient architecture

Brand new doors and high walls stand out outside the school.

Pushing open the wooden door, there is a slate dam in front of me, and the plaque under the eaves reads "Yang's Ancestral Hall" in four big characters.

Go on, walk through a corridor, push open a double door, and a quadrangle is displayed in front of you.

Gao Fangfang, the administrator of the quadrangle, is cleaning up the dam. She carefully cleared the weeds in the corner of the courtyard wall.

Laochang Village 1 Group 79-year-old Yang Mingsen walked into the ancestral temple and bowed to the portraits and memorial tablets of his ancestors.

There is a plaque hanging high on the door frame, and the words "Zongshen pursues the distance" on the black background are particularly eye-catching in the sun.

"This is the Yangjia ancestral hall." Yang Mingsen pointed to the portrait in the middle and some wooden pillars.

"Yangjia ancestral hall, more and more magnificent!" Yang Mingsen said that the original Yangjia ancestral hall was well preserved except for the main hall in the middle, and the surrounding wing rooms were dilapidated. In the post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, the Yangjia ancestral hall was greatly renovated.

Today's Yangjia Ancestral Temple, with clean walls, carved beams and painted buildings, is simple, solemn and magnificent, which not only maintains the ancient national style, but also is permeated with the new atmosphere of the times.

The most striking thing is that there are eight wooden pillars with pillars in the ancestral hall. Each pillar is about 5 meters high, and the largest pillar has a diameter of more than 70 centimeters, without a trace of moths.

The six pillars in the middle are the largest and need two adults to hug each other.

The cushion columns under these six pillars are all octagonal diamonds, which are engraved with various patterns, including descriptions of labor scenes, opera stories, prayers for well-being and longevity. There are also two lion heads carved on two symmetrical pillars in the inner temple, which are exquisite and lifelike. "This is the legacy left by our ancestors, and we must protect it!" Yang Mingsen said that the oldest objects in the hall now are wooden columns and pillars.

The exquisite stone carvings on these wooden columns and cushion columns give the Yangjia ancestral hall a historical flavor.
