The Historical Evolution of Xiaotun Village
During the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1370- 1375), Wang Zuyi moved here at the order of Hongdong County, Shanxi Province. The village was named Xiaotun, which means a smaller tenant village, because of the sacred house that was planted to worship the fields. At the same time, my cousin Li Zugong Zhen moved in and built a village called Li Lou in the eastern half of the village. During the reign of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty, bandits were bloodbath, leaving only one person to kill Li, so it was renamed Xiaotun. Wei, Guo, Zhang, Li, Ma, Feng, Shen, Liu, Tong and Kong successively entered the city. The total population of the village 1900 people, with 2870 mu of cultivated land.
