The enrollment of ordinary high schools is all carried out on the information service platform for enrollment of ordinary high schools in Henan Province (hereinafter referred to as the service platform), and the results of junior high school academic level examination and comprehensive quality evaluation are the main basis for enrollment of ordinary high schools. Education administrative departments at all levels and enrollment schools should implement unified online admission in strict accordance with the enrollment plan and students' voluntary application. Students who do not take the entrance examination will not be admitted to ordinary high schools.
Admissions are made in turn according to the admission batches, and the specific arrangements are as follows:
On July 12- 13, the province enrolled students in batches in advance;
In July 15- 16, cities and counties enrolled students in batches in advance;
On July 19-30, ordinary batch admission at the city and county levels;
Before August 20, the admission of ordinary high schools in the province ended.
During the admission period, 48 hours after the end of each batch of admission, candidates can log on to the service platform to check the admission results.

The "Notice" clarifies that the proportion of high-quality ordinary high school enrollment plans allocated to junior high schools (including private junior high schools) will be gradually expanded, and the distribution ratio will be above 50%. The distribution indicators will be gradually increased to weak junior high schools and rural junior high schools, and it is forbidden to distribute indicators across regions.

The "Notice" requires that public and private ordinary high schools implement territorial enrollment in principle.
Ordinary high schools located in the county should enroll students in the county, and ordinary high schools located in cities under the jurisdiction of the province should enroll students in this district or several urban areas. The specific enrollment scope is determined by the education administrative department of the provincial municipality.
All localities and schools should conduct unified enrollment in strict accordance with the prescribed enrollment scope, enrollment plan, enrollment time and enrollment method. Except for the advanced classes that are approved by the Provincial Department of Education for enrollment in the whole province, ordinary high schools may not enroll students across regions.
