1September 1993, the school was renamed as "Hangzhou Desheng No.1 Primary School", and in 20031October, the original name of "Hangzhou Desheng Primary School" was restored. The original school building covers an area of 2963 square meters: in June 2004, a comprehensive teaching building was built on the basis of the original school building. At the beginning of 2005, the third primary school of Daguanyuan was successfully merged, and Desheng Primary School became a larger school in Gongshu District. In February 2009, the campus of Metropolitan Water Town (address: 299 Guangye Street) was merged, and the size of the school doubled. The school can run more than 50 classes and can accommodate more than 2,000 students.
