Why is Wuhu called Wuhu?
In the second year of Yuanfeng in the Western Han Dynasty (before 109), Emperor Wu changed Yanzhou County to Danyang County, leading to 17 County, and Wuhu was one of them, hence the name Wuhu.

Wuhu has a subtropical humid monsoon climate. Wuhu's climate is characterized by abundant sunshine, abundant rainfall and four distinct seasons.
