March 2 is the second day of the second month of the lunar calendar, and there is a folk saying that "on February 2, the dragon looks up". On February 2nd, there was a traditional opera party, where foreign tourists and locals gathered together. The February 2nd Opera Festival in Yimen County is the oldest, most famous, largest and most representative mass folk cultural activity.

Huashan Festival

The Miao "Huashan Festival" is held every three years. The "Huashan Festival" includes thrilling bullfighting competitions and bustling commercial streets, and the local Miao people also created and performed wonderful national cultural songs and dances. The rich Miao culture has attracted people of all ethnic groups in nearby villages. Since the investigation and declaration of the intangible cultural heritage in Yimen County in 2006, 53 projects, including dance, stone carving, fine arts, root carving and instrumental music, have been included in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in provinces, cities and counties.
