Dongming is the legendary ancestor of Fuyu. Many historical books have recorded the legend of Fuxi's founding, the earliest of which is Wang Chong's Lun Heng Ji Yan. When he left the king for a trip, one of his maids got pregnant. When the king came back, he was furious and wanted to put the maid to death. The maid-in-waiting said to him, "At that time, I saw a breath in the sky, as big as a chicken, and it was on me, so I got pregnant." Queen Yu imprisoned her before she died. Later, the maid gave birth to a boy. Later, the king ordered the little boy he gave birth to be thrown into the pigsty, and the pigs blew him with their breath, so that he would not die. The king had him thrown into the stable again, hoping that the horses would trample him to death, but the horses blew him with air like pigs, and he still didn't die. The king thought the boy must be the son of the man of God, so he adopted him and named him Dongming. When Dongming grew up, he was brave and good at fighting. The king was worried that he would usurp the throne, and he became suspicious, so he moved his heart again. Dongming knew about it and ran away. When he fled to a flooded place, there was no bridge and the pursuers were nearby. Dongming hit the water with a bow, and countless fish and turtles gathered and floated on the water, forming a "bridge". After Dongming took the bridge, the fish and turtles dispersed automatically, and the pursuers could not cross the water. Dongming was able to safely escape to the residential area for the elderly and establish Fuyu Prefecture. The story of Dongming recorded in various histories is roughly as described above, but it must be pointed out that this founding legend is exactly the same as Zhu Meng, the ancestor of Koguryo. Comparing the two, the legend of the founding of Zhu Meng was later than that of Dongming. Goguryeo's ancestor, Dongming Sage, was tall, famous and redundant. King Fu Cha met a woman who claimed to be Hebo's daughter named Liu Hua. King Fuyu took him back to the countryside and lived in a secret room. Suddenly, one day, the sun shone on Liu Hua, and she dodged. The shadow of the sun chased her, so she got pregnant and soon gave birth to a five-catty meatball. King Fu Cha threw it into the herd of pigs and dogs, but the pigs and dogs refused to eat it, so they threw it into the road, and the cows and horses avoided it and refused to step on it. And threw it into the wild, but it was covered with wings by flying birds. Finally, Fu tried to cut it open with a knife, but he couldn't cut it open, so he had to return it, and the latter wrapped it up and put it in a warm place. Soon, a boy hatched. The boy was so brave that he was named Zhu Meng after he was seven years old. Zhu Meng means good marksmanship in Koguryo. Zhu Meng became more and more suspicious of the princes. Finally, with the support of his mother, he led three confidants to flee abroad. On the way to the south, I met a river and wanted to cross the bridge. At this time, Fu Yu was chasing behind again. In despair, Zhu Meng shouted to the water, "I am the son of Heaven Emperor and the grandson of Hebo. Now I'm chasing behind. How can I cross the river? " As soon as his voice fell, fish and turtles came in droves and formed a bridge in the blink of an eye. Zhu Meng and others can cross the river, but the fish and turtles immediately dispersed, and the pursuers could not cross the river. Later, Zhu Meng led people to Gesheng Valley and established the predecessor of Koguryo Kingdom-a person who died before her husband. Comparing the two founding legends of Fuyu and Goguryeo, except that the latter is more plump, perfect and dramatic, there is almost no difference in basic content, especially that Zhu Meng is similar to Dongming, and the history book of the Three Kingdoms of the Korean Peninsula even calls Zhu Meng the sage of Dongming, which makes people wonder whether Zhu Meng and Dongming are one person or two. At present, there are different views in academic circles. Among them, the mainstream view is that Koguryo borrowed the legend of the founding of the country from Fuxi, because the legend of the founding of the country recorded by Fuxi was several years earlier than Koguryo. Therefore, after Koguryo becomes strong, it is necessary to artistically treat the latter on the basis of the legend of the founding of the People's Republic of China, so as to make its own history longer and more brilliant, and at the same time show the sanctity of the royal family, thus forming the legend of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Dongming Chronicle only exists in historical legends. Dongming should have its prototype. This person must have made great contributions to Fuyu people. Therefore, we should also regard Dongming as the ancestor of Fuyu. Although these historical legends are not historical facts, they must have real elements.
