Historical significance of class teaching system
The class teaching system originated in Europe in the16th century, and it rose widely in Ukrainian fraternity schools in the17th century. 1632, the Czech educator Comenius published "Great Teaching Theory", which marked the completion of the theoretical construction of class teaching system. Our country adopted the class teaching system in 1862. At that time, Shi Jing Wentong Museum adopted the class teaching system. Obviously, this is the result of the spread of western learning to the east. Some researchers believe that the class teaching system is actually the product of the industrial revolution, which is suitable for industrial production and aims to train more and better industrial workers on the assembly line. From a historical point of view, the class teaching system does have its positive significance and plays an irreplaceable role. It greatly improves the efficiency of education and teaching, reduces the cost of education and teaching to a certain extent, and makes it possible for more people to receive education. However, its disadvantages are also obvious, mainly at the expense of personality, which is not conducive to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. Today, we have entered the information society. Information technology is profoundly and widely affecting our study and lifestyle. Obviously, the class teaching system may have become increasingly unsuitable for today's information society. One way to solve this problem is to implement small class system. In some big cities, such as Shanghai, the class size of primary schools and junior high schools is 20-30, but in most parts of China, it is still impossible to do so. In Wuyuan, there are still 60 students in a class, although it is repeatedly required that a class in junior high school should not exceed 50 students.
