Anqing No.14 Middle School was founded in March, 1976. It is a department-level institution, ordinary junior high school and full-time compulsory education. The school has 67 faculty members (retired 19), students 1050, and school size 18 classes. The school has a teaching building and a comprehensive building, and the teaching office space covers an area of more than 8,000 square meters.

The modern multimedia room, microcomputer room, language lab and physical and chemical laboratory are all built according to the first-class standards of provincial audio-visual education and experiment. At the same time, there are music room, art room, library, reading room and 200m circular track and field, as well as table tennis, basketball, volleyball and football field, equipped with single parallel bars and a full set of physical exercise equipment.

Development history:

At the beginning of the school, the school was located in Hongqi Primary School, Longshiqiao Township, Anqing City. Due to the limitations of school buildings and site conditions, it cannot meet the basic needs of running a junior high school. Considering the future development of No.14 Middle School, at that time, with the application of the school and the approval of the higher-level government, more than 20 mu of vegetable fields were requisitioned in the southeast of Hongqi Primary School for the construction of new school buildings.

Since its establishment 30 years ago, the school has always adhered to the correct direction of running a school, fully implemented the party's educational policy, continuously strengthened the construction of teaching staff, established and improved various rules and regulations, beautified the campus environment, purchased various teaching instruments and equipment, and gradually improved the conditions for running a school; Adhere to both moral education and teaching, actively carry out teaching and scientific research activities, and implement routine management, target management, system management and democratic management.
