Jinkouhe South Station is located in Xiangbi Village, Gongan Yi Autonomous County, Jinkouhe District, Leshan City, Sichuan Province, with a building area of about 297 1 square meter, three floors above ground and a building height of about 24 meters. This is a small passenger station building. Although the building area of this station standing in the countryside is small, it is very difficult to build. The station is built on the mountain, living by the water, with a river in front and a mountain behind. It rides vertically on the existing local rural roads, and the main body of the station is suspended on the ground. From a distance, it looks like a "diaojiao building".

In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project construction on schedule, the construction unit overcame the difficulties of narrow construction site, large height difference and wide aerial work area. In view of the complex geological conditions and the harsh climate in the western Sichuan Plateau, the control and personnel management in the construction process were strengthened, and a number of new construction technologies were adopted to properly solve various problems encountered in the construction.

Chengdu-kunming railway's capacity expansion and reconstruction project, that is, the station building project in Ebian section, mainly includes six passenger stations in Shawan South, Ebian South, Jinkou South, Ganluonan, Yuexi and Xidexi, and five crossing stations in Yangang, Dianzi, Kete, Mantan and Luoan and other related projects. After the completion of the main structure, it will enter the sprint stage of erecting beams and laying tracks.

The outline design of Jinkouhe South Station combines the local towering valley elements, and the architectural colors are extracted from the local Yi traditional costumes, highlighting the regional culture.
