Introduction of Lushun Military Port
Lushun Military Port was founded in Qing Dynasty. In fact, as early as the Ming Dynasty, Lushun had a naval battalion, which led the navy to patrol the sea and invaded the coast of Bo Huang with imperialism. In order to strengthen the maritime defense of Lushunkou, from 1880 to 1890 and 10, the Qing government ordered Li Hongzhang, the minister of Beiyang, to set up the Beiyang Navy to run Lushunkou. In Lushun, private capital was widely levied, and the waterway was expanded, the harbor was dredged, the sea was reclaimed to build a battery and a harbor pool, making Lushunkou a world-famous military fortress and one of the five major military ports at that time. By 1894-65438, the Qing government only operated Lushun for 16 years, and it was occupied by Japan and Russia for decades. On April 1955, China and the Soviet Union held the handover ceremony of Lushun military port, and the defense of Lushun military port was in the hands of the people of China from April 16. As the training base of the North Sea Fleet, Westport is being expanded. Lushun military port is located at the southwest end of Liaodong Peninsula and the north bank of the Yellow Sea. The port gate opens to the southeast, facing the majestic Huang Jinshan in the east, the Huwei Peninsula in the west and the majestic Laotieshan in the southwest, surrounded by Lushun Port, which is known as the "Wonder of the World".
