[Evolution] jiangwan town, founded in the Song Dynasty, is an ancient town with developed land and water transportation, with handicraft workshops such as bamboo wares and iron shops as the main ones. Jianjiangwan Town was built in 1950, and was included in Baoshan County from the northern suburb in 1958, and in Hongkou District in 1984. 1997, the jurisdiction starts from Yixian Road in the east, reaches Lujingpu, Simian and Jiangyang South Road in the west, is bounded by Shuidian Road and Kuizhao Road in the south and southwest, and reaches Agricultural Machinery Road in the north, with an area of 4 square kilometers and a population of 47,000. In 2004, it administered Kuizhao Road, Xinshi South Road, Memorial Road, Wenzhi Road, Chezhan West Road, Wan 'an West Road, Zhonglie Road, Fengzhen Road, Guyuan Road, Xinshi North Road, Wan 'an East Road, Yixian Road, Rende Road, Chigou Road, Zhenxi Road, Zhenbei Road, Sanmen Road, Chen An Road, Chunsheng Road, Fengzhen Road 2, Shengli Road and Zhenzhen Road. On July 20, 2006, the Shanghai Municipal Government approved the cancellation of the organizational system of jiangwan town in Hongkou District and the establishment of Jiangwan Town Sub-district Office (No.78 [2006] of Hufu), and agreed to cancel the organizational system of jiangwan town in Hongqi District and establish Jiangwan Town Sub-district Office, with an administrative area of about 4.2 square kilometers within the original administrative area of jiangwan town. The sub-district office is located at 300 Fengzhen Road. On September 1 day, the unveiling ceremony of Jiangwan Town Sub-district Office was held.
