Sichuan Opera is very popular in Sichuan Province and parts of Yunnan and Guizhou. Geographically, Kun, Gao, Hu and Tan of Sichuan Opera were introduced from Minjiang River in western Sichuan, Lunhe River in southern Sichuan and Jialing River in northern Sichuan, so there are four schools. This name officially appeared in the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Compared with other operas in China, the biggest feature of Sichuan Opera is its high tune. The role of Sichuan opera is similar to that of Beijing opera, which is divided into life, Dan, Jing and Ugliness. Mostly life, Dan and the clown. The costumes and masks of Sichuan Opera are similar to those of Beijing Opera. Clothing is based on Ming Dynasty clothing, with reference to Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties.
