Introduction to Luo Chongwei:

Luo Chongwei is a simple transliteration of Luo Yongwei, whose name comes from Luo Yongwei and Luoyong Village near Zengqiao. Later, for the convenience of writing, foreigners gradually changed it to Luochongwei. Now Luochong Village still exists, mainly engaged in the clothing industry. After the reform and opening up, people gradually got used to bringing the adjacent Songxi and Chalong into Luochongwei area because of its great fame.

It turns out that Luochongwei Bus Terminal, a part of R&F Peninsula and R&F Taoyuan, and a large section of Zengcha Road and Sanitation River once belonged to Luo Yong Village. At present, the oldest tree in Luo Yong Village is an old banyan tree with a history of more than 350 years. The Qing dynasty was a river beach with dense water networks, especially rich in snails and shells. As a result, the place name of Luo Yong Fair was gradually formed.

Luochongwei Beijing-Shenzhen Line crosses north and south, connects Guangzhou Ring Expressway in the north, Guangzhou Inner Ring Road and Dongfeng West Road in the south, and is separated from Shabei Station Bridge of Metro Line 6 in the west. The trunk lines include Zengcha Road and Songnan Road. Others include Campus Road, Chongyong Road, Tongkang Road and Xinwei Road.
