Wuhan is the capital of Hubei Province, located in the middle of China, and the political, economic and cultural center of Hubei Province. The Yangtze River, the third longest river in the world, and its largest tributary, the Hanshui River, meet in Wuhan, dividing Wuhan into three parts, namely, Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang.
