Since then, Ferrari has won more than 5,000 victories in track and road races around the world, creating the legend of Ferrari today.

In order to meet the growing market demand, Enzo Ferrari sold 50% of its shares to Fiat Group in 1969, and in 1988, Fiat Group held 90% of its shares.

Nevertheless, due to highly specialized production, Ferrari has always maintained a completely independent operation.

1977, Carrozzeria Scaglietti, a famous expert in automobile body design and manufacturing, joined Ferrari. Since 1950s, he has been designing chassis and body for Ferrari GT sports car.
