This ancient town of Mudu belongs to a garden town, which was the most prosperous in Ming and Qing dynasties, with about dozens of them. The reason why I chose to build a garden here may be because of its location. Also, there are many famous mountains here, and the locals call it a cornucopia. Not only that, it is also an important transportation hub of Suzhou and Taihu Lake, which has been particularly prosperous since ancient times.
When you come here, tourists can also see some very famous gardens, the most famous of which is Yan Jia Garden, which is a well-known garden rumor. At present, the garden covers an area of about 16 mu, and every design is quite elaborate. Every scenic spot and every courtyard is enough for us to savor for a long time.
Mudu ancient town has a long history, with as many as 12 historical sites and as many as 13 scenic spots. The famous local Lingyan Mountain is a must. There is a pavilion on the mountain. It can be said that this historic site is worth our appreciation. There are many historical sites in Ming and Qing Dynasties and about 30 private garden sites here.
The local garden, built in the Qing Dynasty, is called the Garden because its owner's surname is Yan. After nearly three generations' efforts, Yan Jia gardens have been the classics of Jiangnan gardens for nearly 200 years, which attracted many people to visit, no matter the vicissitudes of time or some unique humanities.
However, Mudu ancient town is relatively low-key, so its reputation is slightly lower. Even so, people can't stop loving it, especially on holidays. It can be said that it is very popular here
