Does anyone still read Lu Xun's works?
I have studied Lu Xun for ten years.

Yesterday was the anniversary of my husband's death.

This time last year, it was the eightieth year since Mr. Wang left. At that time, there was a drama that described and restored Mr. Lu Xun's lifestyle, set aside Lu Xun's influence on China culture and traced Lu Xun's own life. So at that time, Lu Xun was called "Mr. Da", which was called by Lu Xun's feudal family.

I forget when it started, and I am puzzled by this behavior of avoiding traces of spiritual products. I don't like to call Lu Xun "Mr. Big" either. Some people say that Mr. Big is big, except that he is the boss of feudal society, and his personality style can be called big.

However, I think that an anti-feudal fighter has been writing all his life and fighting against the old society. After his death, he began to learn in the spring of 80. Later generations no longer care about his writing, but are interested in his private life, probably disdainful.

This year is another year after 80 years. Unlike the grand occasion when China people criticized Lu Xun last year, let's find a topic to discuss why we don't love Lu Xun and why Lu Xun is no longer mentioned by China people. Nobody remembers this year at all.

Of course, special historical periods always have special needs. People who like Lu Xun will still like Lu Xun. People who don't know Lu Xun won't take it seriously. I have no intention of flaunting Lu Xun's warrior spirit. Even if society needs Lu Xun to fight, even if society doesn't need Lu Xun to fight, Mr. Wang's position in my heart has never changed. In this world, there are people who dislike a scholar because of historical needs.

Generally speaking, I have read Mr. Wang's works for ten years. I was eight years old that year, and now 18.

Like children all over the country, I read Lu Xun for the first time, which is also the first summer of junior high school. The illustrations of my hometown are still in my memory. Confronted Yan with a steel fork, but Yan slipped away from her crotch. Now whenever I think back to seeing Lu Xun when I was young, there is always a vague and unreal feeling.

Chinese teachers in junior middle schools especially like to describe a passage with artistic conception. What is the artistic conception of this passage, what things are described and what expressive techniques are used? This was the fixed routine of education at that time.

Therefore, students have reason not to read Lu Xun. The gentleman in junior high school textbooks is so rough, his words are not fluent, his words are obscure and full of malice. No wonder people don't like it. The most important thing is that as long as you answer Lu Xun, you must be an anti-feudal fighter, uncompromising to evil forces and intolerant to the old society. As long as I write a composition, Lu Xun must have said, I want to fight against feudal forces, I want to overthrow the rule of the feudal dynasty, I want to abandon medicine and follow the literature, and save China.

The problem is that Lu Xun didn't say it. He really didn't. This writing paradigm is no different from "My name is Zhao Ritian, and I want to kill all the earth and rush out of the galaxy". Interestingly, you can also score points by writing like this. Not only Lu Xun, the drowned Sima, the tragic Shakespeare, and A Guang who smashed the jar are all teenagers' favorites. If anyone's composition begins with Pushkin from a neighboring country, it must be a genius exam wizard.

I remember ten years ago, when I was studying Lu Xun, I had finished reading more than half of China's martial arts.

At that time, after reading Mr. Jin Yong's works again, he successively read Gu's Yu Sheng, and then read The Romance of Gods. Looking back, the most enduring thing is Mr. Jin Yong's stuff. It's really beautiful, so I hold the brochure every day. Lu Xun at that time was really just Lu Xun to me. It was not until around the next winter that I read a new version of Mr. Wang's story.

The New Story is my favorite novel besides The Distant Savior, and it is also the novel I recommend every time I mention Lu Xun. It was quite strange at that time. Mr. Wang was tired of opposing feudalism every day. Later, after reading the new story, I didn't have this idea. I can't say what Mr. Wang thinks in his bones, because everyone has different understanding of thought and culture. If I talk about Lu Xun according to my idea, I think this is two feelings with Lu Xun I know. Here I only say what I know about Lu Xun.

There is such an article in the new edition called non-attack.

"Non-attack" is the only one of the eight new novels that directly writes historical views. This passage comes from Mozi's "Public Loss", which describes Mozi's public loss from Song Dynasty to Lu Dynasty and advises him not to attack Song Dynasty with equipment.

The core idea is simple. Mozi's universal love and non-aggression is also an important knowledge point in junior high school education. The text of the textbook extracts this paragraph, but does not extract the last sentence. At that time, Mozi's behavior avoided the demise of the Song State, but when he returned to the Song State, such a scene happened. It was raining heavily, and Mozi wanted to enter the gate of the Song Dynasty to take shelter from the rain, but the soldiers refused to let him in on the grounds that he was travel-stained. Mozi's mood at that time, the original text is like this:

Mozi returned to the Song Dynasty. When it rains, it is sheltered from the wind and rain, and the guards are not inside. Therefore, as the saying goes, "those who treat God do not know their merits; People who struggle for clarity are well known. "

This passage is obviously contrary to Mozi's action of giving his life to save his life, so it is selectively omitted in the textbook. In recognition of Mozi's righteousness, I think it is necessary to extract this passage:

Zi Mozi said, "I lost my son only to kill my minister. Kill the minister, Song Mo can keep it and attack it. But I disciple bird slip Li and other three hundred people, have kept the instrument of the mouth of the minister, waiting for Chu Kou in Song Cheng. Even if you kill a minister, you cannot kill him. "

By contrast, Mozi's students are complaining that good people are not rewarded.

Just kidding, in fact, people like Mozi who can save the world don't care about this little thing. The meaning of Mozi's whole article is not to say how brave I am to save the world, but to say this last sentence: "He who treats God does not know his merits;" People who struggle for clarity are well known. "

Non-aggression and universal love are originally great love. Those who can do it without aggression will endure, and those who can do it with universal love will be silent. This is what Mozi wants to express. As a result, when you go to the textbook, you become a gentleman and can understand the author's intention very well.

Back to Mr. Lu Xun, the non-attack in the new story basically restored the scene at that time. Mr. Lu Xun was afraid that people couldn't understand what he wrote, so he specially translated it into vernacular Chinese, and he was afraid that what he wrote was too blunt and obscure to be enjoyable to read, and his words were clever and his writing was smooth. As a result, the whole book "New Story" was deliberately forgotten, and no one cared. Now that I think about it, just like Mozi at that time.

But I think Mr. Lai is a man who wants to do great things, who wants to save people and kill feudal fighters, and will not care about being forgotten. On the contrary, he created a non-aggressive, unique rather than Lu Xun's way to describe such a passage:

On the way home, Mozi walked slowly. First, he was weak. Second, his feet hurt. Third, he was inevitably hungry after eating his dry food. Fourth, things were finished, unlike when he came. However, it was even more unlucky than when it came: as soon as it entered the Song Dynasty, it was searched twice; Approaching the capital, I met a fund-raising national salvation team and raised a broken burden; Outside the south gate, I was caught in a heavy rain. I tried to take shelter from the rain at the gate, but I was driven away by two scouts holding Ge, and I was soaked to the skin. Since then, my nose has been stuffed for more than ten days.

Mozi had many disciples at that time. The most famous ones were repairing pillars, managing money and keeping birds slippery. In the new edition, Teacher Wang specially created a life dialogue between Mozi and his disciples. There is an interesting passage:

"What is this?" Mozi knew that he was his own student, Guan Qian Ao, and asked.

"Yes, it's ladder-proof."

"What about other preparations?"

"Also raised some hemp, ash, iron. But it is rare: some people refuse, others refuse. Or talk more ... "

"I listened to Tsao Kung's speech in the city yesterday. I was playing with a' gas' and shouting' death'. You tell him: don't be secretive; It is not bad to die, and death is good for the people! "

"It's hard to tell him," Guan Qian replied wistfully. "He has been an official here for two years and doesn't want to talk to us ..."

"Where is the bird slippery?"

"He is very busy. Just tested the crossbow; I'm afraid I'm looking at the terrain outside Xiguan now, so I can't see if Mr. Wang has gone to Chu to find scum? "

"Yes," said Mozi, "but it's still uncertain whether he will listen to me. You are still ready, don't just watch your words succeed. "

Guan Qian ao nodded, watched Mozi hit the road, watched for a while, and then pushed the car into the city with a creak.

Later, Mozi negotiated with Duke Lu, saying that even if you kill me, you can't take Song Cheng away. The original text is like this:

Yes, I copied it again. Let's take a look now. Is this Mozi's righteous life? This is that Mozi trusts his disciples and knows that they will uphold their own ideas.

Similarly, Mr. Wang is also very helpless, and many words are really not what he said. He really stood on the tide of the times, watching the whole world surging and unpredictable, and Lu Xun was young.

Finally, the best work recommended to you is not a new story, nor a wandering cry. The True Story of Ah Q is Weeds in Kong Yiji, not A Brief History of China's Novels.

Finally, in order to cherish the memory of missing my husband, I decided to tell you a secret. My husband's name is not Lu Xun, but Zhou Shuren.

As the saying goes, it takes ten years to plant trees and a hundred years to cultivate people.

This is from Guanzi Quanxiu No.3:

"A year's plan is nothing more than a tree valley; The ten-year plan is nothing more than a tree; Lifelong planning is nothing more than cultivating people. A tree gets a tree, and the valley is also; Ten wins in one tree, and wood is also; There are many things in a tree, and so are people. I plant it, like god uses it, and I walk like god, only the king's door. "
