It is the first batch of national regional medical center pilot units approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Health and Wellness Commission. It is a public welfare medical institution jointly organized by the provincial people's government, Fudan University Pediatric Hospital and Anhui Children's Hospital. It is a pilot unit to establish and improve the modern hospital management system determined by the Secretariat of the State Council Medical Reform Leading Group. There are three campuses: Wangjiang Road Campus, Shenzhen Road Campus and Li San 'an Campus.
