Guangzhou 1
In 226 AD, Sun Quan of Soochow divided the former Jiaozhou into four counties, namely Nanhai and Cangwu, and newly established Guangzhou. Because the original state was in Guangxin (now Wuzhou, Fengkai), the name of Guangzhou was taken from the word "Guang" in Guangxin.
2. Shenzhen
The place name "Shenzhen" first appeared in the historical records of 14 10 (the eighth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty). The local dialect is commonly known as "deep ditch", which is named after the dense Shui Ze and the deep ditch beside the village.
3. Dongguan
In the sixth year of Xianhe in the Eastern Jin Dynasty (AD 33 1 year), Li County, Dongguan, was originally named Baoan. In the second year (757) from Tang Suzong to Germany, it was renamed Dongguan, which was named because it was rich in Dongguan grass (the material for making straw mats).
