Four famous temples in Guangdong
The four famous temples in Guangdong are Qingyun Temple in Dinghushan, Zhaoqing, Nanhua Temple in Shaoguan, Guangxiao Temple in Guangzhou and Lingguang Temple in Meizhou.

Qingyun Temple in Dinghushan, Zhaoqing is located in the east-central valley of Dinghushan, on the east and west sides of the building. It is one of the four famous temples in Guangdong, and it is called Qingyun Temple because there is often fog on the top of the mountain.

2. Nanhua Temple in Shaoguan

Nanhua Temple is located on the bank of Caoxi, 22km southeast of Shaoguan City. Huineng, the sixth ancestor, created Zen here, which is the ancestral home of Zen Buddhism. Zen is China's original creation, and it is a typical China Buddhism. Hinduism has only Zen, not Zen. Nanhua Temple was built in the first year of Tian Liang Prison in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (AD 502).

3. Guangxiao Temple in Guangzhou

Guangzhou folk proverb says: "Without Yangcheng, there is filial piety first". Guangxiao Temple in Guangzhou is the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Yangcheng. Guangxiao Temple is located at the northern end of Xiaoguang Road, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is one of the four jungles in Guangzhou (Xiaoguang, Liu Rong, Haizhuang and Hualin Temple).

Yin Na is located in Yangyan Town, Meixian County, 45 kilometers away from Meizhou City. Its top is connected with five peaks. It is called Wu Zhifeng, also known as Mei Feng, with an altitude of 65,438+0,297 meters. Lingguang Temple, a thousand-year-old temple in the foothills, is one of the four famous temples in Guangdong. The temple is built on the mountain, covering an area of more than 6000 square meters. The layout of Lingguang Temple is ingenious, and the main hall is characterized by the "pineapple top" building, which is rare in China and can be called a masterpiece of temple architecture.
