The origin of fried dumplings
Shuijianbao is a famous food in Qilu, which has a history of more than 360 years and originated in Lijin County (formerly known as "Phoenix City"). Lijin, where the Yellow River enters the sea in Wan Li, has outstanding people, rich products, developed agriculture and mulberry, and prosperous culture. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was the intersection center of Haihe River and a famous commercial port, with merchants and shops, and unique fried dumplings came into being.

Boiling, steaming and frying are integrated. Just out of the pot, the fried bag tastes delicious because it has a wonderful combination of boiling, steaming and frying. Its color is golden, one side is crisp, three sides are soft and tender, crisp but not hard, fragrant but not greasy, and delicious. Its food is full of praise and is well known.

Businessmen, officials and literati from all walks of life come here by car and boat to taste delicious fried dumplings. According to legend, when Pu Songling, a famous litterateur in Qing Dynasty, came to Lijin to pay a visit to Li, a well-known preface class in Hongqiao Temple (known as "Li Shenxian", the hero of the article "Drama" in Strange Tales from a Lonely Studio), Li Shifu warmly entertained the local celebrities. After tasting it, Pu Gong was full of praise and lamented that "Lijin fried dumplings can be as famous as Zhoucun sesame cakes".

Huanghekou fried dumplings inherited the production technology of Lijin fried dumplings, carefully selected ingredients, scientifically matched, and carefully produced distinctive delicacies.

There are two kinds of meat dishes and more than a dozen varieties in the Yellow River Estuary. The stuffing in meat dumplings mainly includes pork, mutton, shrimp, sea cucumber, Chinese cabbage, leek and leek. Vegetarian steamed stuffed buns are mostly filled with vermicelli, fried tofu, wild vegetables and carrots.
