History of the Second Ring Road in Chengdu

There are 6 overpasses in the early stage, and the clockwise direction is as follows:

Fuqing Road Interchange (later connected with Qinglongchang Interchange at 1997): Crossing Fuqing Road (Hongxing Road).

Shuangqiaozi Interchange: Crossing Xincheng Road (Shudu Avenue)

Rennan Interchange: Crossing the fourth section of Renmin South Road (Tianfu Avenue)

Yongfeng Interchange: Across Yongfeng Road

Wencheng Interchange (Overpass, not Interchange): Crossing Wencheng Road.

Yingmenkou Interchange: Crossing (Old) Chengguan Road

In 2002, in order to ensure the safety of students in Jianshe Road Primary School, the first footbridge on the Second Ring Road started construction.

In 2005, 38 projects were finalized for the people's pragmatic goals: the Second Ring Road opened six overpasses that year.

In March 2005, the geological survey of Jiusan Road and other intersections began, announcing the beginning of the reconstruction of the Second Ring Road.

On June 2006, 65438+1 October1,the first batch of interchange systems on the Second Ring Road-Jiusan intersection underpass tunnel, Shuangnan overpass and Ke Hua overpass were opened to traffic.

In 2005, the overpass construction of Jiusan Road, Ke Hua Road and Shuangnan Road and the expressway reconstruction of 1.7 km test section were completed.

On July 22, 2006, the main lane of the Second Ring Road was closed, 7 days earlier.

The reconstruction was completed on May 28th, 20 13, and the BRT bus was officially opened on May 28th, 3 1 3.
