Dangshan county is located in the northernmost part of Anhui province, at the junction of seven counties in Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces; It borders Xiaoxian County in the east, and borders yongcheng city, Xiayi County and Yucheng County in the southeast, south, southwest and west respectively.
