Where is Daishan Island?
Daishan Island is located in the north of Zhoushan Island, outside the mouth of Hangzhou Bay. The county seat is located in Gaoting Town in the southeast of the island. The longest beach in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Lulan Qingsha, is named after Lu Lan in the north of Daishan Island.

Daishan has a long history and textual research on unearthed cultural relics. In the Neolithic Age 5000 years ago, the island was inhabited. Written records also have a history of more than 2,000 years.

Daishan Island is known as the "Penglai" on the sea and has "Ten Scenes of Penglai". The island is also rich in tourism resources and is a provincial-level scenic spot. The main attractions are Moxin Mountain, Houshayang Beach, Bird's Nest Mountain, Shuanghe Mountain and Penglai Park.

Moxin Mountain Scenic Area is located in the southeast of Daishan Island, 2.2 kilometers away from Gaoting Town, the county seat. The whole mountain covers an area of 6 square kilometers, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side, with an altitude of 257.1m. This is the highest place on the island with a wide view. The main attractions are Ciyun Temple, Baifengxue, Huazang World, Xiaowu Tea Garden, Longjing and Jade Buddha Pagoda.

Ciyun Jile Temple was built in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, with a history of more than 240 years. There are mainly parking lots, mountain gates, Van Gogh Yin Qing, release ponds, bell towers, drum towers, Ursa Major Hall, Jade Buddha Hall, Penglai Ten Scenes Poetry Wall, Rank Hall, Tibetan Classics Building, Yixin Pavilion, Jade Buddha Pagoda, Penglai Tea Garden and other landscapes.
