"Things are treasures" and "outstanding people". This is derived from two idioms in Wang Bo's Preface to Wang Tengting, both of which are from Yichun. The essence of the sword mentioned in "The Treasure in Things, the Dragon Light Shoots at the Bull Fighting the City" is hidden in today's Fengcheng Tang Rong. "Outstanding people, Xu Ruceng got off the couch in Chen Fan", and his home is Baitu in Fengcheng today. In the imperial examination era, there was a saying that Yuan Zhou was half a scholar in Jiangxi. Zhao Lu, the first liberal arts champion in Jiangxi, studied hard on a sandbar in the east of Yuanzhou, and was later named "Champion Island". The second scholar in the Tang Dynasty was Yi Zhong, who was also from Yuanzhou. Yao Mian, the champion of the Song Dynasty, was born in Yifeng. Wu Shan, who explored flowers in Ming Dynasty, was born in Gao 'an. Zheng, the second person in Qing Dynasty, was a great master.

In the ancient literary world, Yichun celebrities came forth in large numbers. Tao Yuanming, a poet in Jin Dynasty, "started in Yifeng, moved in Chai Sang and returned in his later years". Among the four friends of Wuzhong in Tang Dynasty, Fanglin, Jiexi, Zheng Gu and Wu Han in Fan were all from Yichun.

In the history of science and technology in China. Yichun, an outstanding person, was called "authoritative work" by Darwin, and its author Song was a newcomer in the late Ming Dynasty. Wu, a world-famous physicist and vice president of China Academy of Sciences, is from Gao 'an, and most of the backbones who developed "two bombs and one satellite" in China are his disciples.

In the history of Yichun, many great men and women fought against foreign aggression. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Deng Zilong, a native of Fengcheng, led an army to help Korea resist Japan and died in Korea. At the beginning of tomorrow, Chen Bangzhan, a Gao 'an who was then the governor of Guangdong, deported the Portuguese. Zou William, a native of Yifeng, was then the governor of Fujian, commanding officers and men to fight against the Dutch invaders. During the Opium War, the British army attacked Dinghai. Shu Gongshou, a Jing 'an man who presided over Dinghai's government affairs, led the soldiers and civilians to bravely fight against the British army and then jumped into the city and died. In the modern Sino-French war, the newcomer Zhang Xun led the troops to conquer lang son in one fell swoop, forcing the French army to withdraw south. When the Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War broke out, he went to Liaodong to fight for it.

Yichun is an old revolutionary base area. A number of Republic generals such as Du Ping, Wang Zonghuai, Zhou Chiping and Zhang Yixiang have emerged in this red land. Among countless brave revolutionary fighters, among the 22 warriors who flew over the Luding Bridge on the Long March, there was Liu Zihua from Yichun.
