Examination arrangement

The examination subjects are Grade 9: Chinese, Mathematics, English, Morality and Rule of Law, History, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Education and Health. Grade 8: Biology, Geography and Information Technology. Examination form: Chinese, mathematics and English are closed in classes; Morality and rule of law, history, physical chemistry, biology and geography should be written in a closed book; Physical education and health should be combined with on-site unified testing and process assessment; Information technology implements man-machine examination.

The test scores of Chinese, Mathematics and English are 120, the information technology scores are presented in four grades: A (excellent), B (good), C (qualified) and D (unqualified), and the scores of other subjects are 100. Physical education and health and information technology examination: completed before May 30th.

Examination proposition

The proposition is based on the curriculum standards of compulsory education. The direction of the proposition is to educate moral people, take quality education as the guidance, take core literacy as the core, pay attention to basics, comprehensiveness, application and innovation, focus on examining students' academic and cultural literacy, thinking process and ability to solve problems by using what they have learned, and guide the school to establish a comprehensive training system of "five educations simultaneously".

Examination proposition requirements

Adhere to the orientation, scientificity and fairness, further strengthen the evaluation of core literacy of disciplines, scientifically design the structure and proposition content of test papers according to the character and ability requirements put forward by core literacy and the knowledge content provided by the curriculum field, and be close to social reality, curriculum reform and students' life reality, so as to create more thinking space and a platform for students to display their personal talents.

Student registration in China

The eighth and ninth grade students in the city must take the senior high school entrance examination (except the six-year compulsory curriculum reform class of Yueyang Foreign Language School). The Municipal Education and Sports Bureau issued a unified list of candidates through the "Yueyang Basic Education Management Platform" (hereinafter referred to as "Basic Education Platform") before April 20.

The education administrative departments of counties and urban areas shall, jointly with junior high schools, strictly review the students' registration qualifications before April 30, complete the examination and summary of candidates' information, and report the summary of relevant examination records. Students who have participated in the previous senior high school entrance examination are not allowed to participate in this examination again, and the results of the senior high school entrance examination in related subjects in the previous year shall prevail.

Registration of students from other provinces and cities

Fresh junior high school graduates from other provinces and cities, who move into our city with their parents' (or legal guardians') household registration (or actual residence) or move into our city because of their parents' job transfer, can apply to our city to participate in the senior high school entrance examination and high school enrollment.

Before April 20, the parents or legal guardians of the students shall submit a written application to the junior high school where their current address or household registration is located with their household registration book, residence certificate, school registration certificate issued by the municipal education administrative department where the original school is located, and biogeography score certificate of the senior high school entrance examination. After the relevant schools review the materials and accept the registration, they will report the candidates' information through the "basic education platform", which will be reviewed by the schools and the higher-level county and city education administrative departments.

Registration information audit

All junior high schools must print the "information form of candidates' application" through the "basic education platform", organize students to confirm and sign the key information of the senior high school entrance examination, and at the same time stamp the relevant forms of the senior high school entrance examination (the roster of students who need to make up the exam for the ninth grade, the roster of students who have passed the senior high school entrance examination, and the roster of students with problems left over from the senior high school entrance examination, etc.) ) and send it to the Basic Education Department of the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau before April 30th.
