Swiss capital

When it comes to the capital of Switzerland, how many people will unconsciously blurt out "Zurich"? In fact, Bern, the capital of Switzerland, is really a low-key city, but it is also a city with a variety of customs.

The old town of Bern is considered as one of the most special and well-preserved examples in medieval European urban planning, and it has been recognized as a world heritage by UNESCO since 1983. The cobblestone streets here have a history of more than 500 years, and almost still retain their original features.

The bell tower in Bern is the oldest building in Bern. It is the symbol of Bern. The bell tower was built in 12 18, when it was the west gate on the wall of the old town of Bern. The clock and astronomical clock on the bell tower were built in 1530, and their mechanical technology is amazing even today!

Surrounded by rivers, the ancient city is mostly 4-and 5-storey stone houses with sloping roofs, all of which have a history of hundreds of years. Einstein once lived here. There is a main street in the city, flanked by shops with arcades. At the end of the main street is a bell tower built in16th century. There will be a wonderful doll time show on the hour, but I didn't watch it this time. The quaint streets and lanes of the ancient city are always full of medieval mysteries. Walking out of the ancient city and crossing a bridge, you can enjoy the ancient city on the other side of the river, just like a fairy tale world.

Bern is a city immersed in European history and culture, and also a paradise far away from prosperity, which makes me feel quiet and beautiful. This is the pursuit of history, inner peace, and the significance of my trip.
