Zhu Ran (182-249) was born in Danyang (now Anji, Zhejiang). During the Three Kingdoms period, a famous general of Wu, whose real name was Shi, was Zhi Zhu's adopted son, and he had a close relationship with Sun Quan during his study. Sun Quantong later served as the prefect of Linchuan in Yinshan stage, and was appreciated by Sun Quan, who had a record of pacifying mountain thieves. Later, he followed Monroe to crusade against Guan Yu and arrested Guan Yu and his son. On her deathbed, Monroe asked Sun Quan who was the most suitable successor. Monroe thought Zhu Ran was his best successor. After the death of Lv Meng, Zhu Ran replaced Lv Meng to guard Jiangling. In the battle of Yiling, Lu Xun jointly defeated Liu Bei, and then Zhu Ran suggested retreating to Wei, and Wei really took the opportunity to attack Wu.
Cao Zhen, Zhang He and other Wei generals besieged Jiangling for half a year, and finally withdrew under the defense of Zhu Ran. Since then, Zhu Ran has been known as an enemy. After that, Sun Quan sent Zhu Ran to attack Jiangxia and Fancheng, but none of them succeeded. However, both expeditions gained something. Finally, Guan Zhi Sajima and You Junshi died in 249 at the age of 68. Sun Quan was extremely sad for this and mourned for his plain clothes. So I didn't live to the Jin Dynasty.
