Changzhou is a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, located in the south of the Yangtze River, on the shore of Taihu Lake and in the center of the Yangtze River Delta. It is one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta, an advanced manufacturing base and a famous cultural tourism city, and an important part of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in Jiangsu Province. Together with Suzhou and Wuxi, it forms the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou metropolitan area. ?
Changzhou is a famous historical and cultural city with a history of more than 3,200 years [3]. It was once called Yanling, Piling, Pitan, Jinling, Nanlanling, Changchun, Changzhou and Wujin, and it was only in the ninth year of Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty (589) that Changzhou was called. Established in 1949. [2]
As of 20 15, Changzhou has five administrative districts, namely Tianning District, Zhonglou District, Xinbei District, Wujin District and Jintan District, and a county-level city, liyang city, with 2/kloc-0 sub-district offices, 37 towns, 807 administrative villages and 323 neighborhood committees, with a total area of 4,385 square kilometers.
