Journey to West Sichuan
We left the miyaluo scenic spot in the Great Depression. On the way, "Tashi" has been introducing Kanongji to us in his Tibetan Mandarin. According to him, avalokitesvara is the most effective. Going to Kannonji to worship is a lifelong dream of many devout believers. If Tibetans can't go to Lhasa to worship once in their lifetime, they must come to Kannonji. Therefore, it is also called the second Potala Palace, with more than 200,000 tourists and believers from Qinghai, Tibet, Gansu and overseas every year. With Tashi's strong recommendation, our car sped away to Kannonji. After the bus arrived at Cannongji Town, it took a long time to detour along the steep mountain road before reaching Cannongji in Guanyinqiao Town, Jinchuan County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

Kannonji, which is 3685 meters above sea level, is built on the mountain. Built in 1850. It has a history of 1000 years. It has been passed down for 25 generations, and it is famous for offering four-armed Guanyin. It is said that the four-armed Guanyin is a natural four-armed Guanyin discovered and invited by folk believers in the 7th century, so a temple was built to worship it. It is said that Guanyin Bodhisattva worshipped by the temple owner, Guanyin worshipped by Potala Palace and Guanyin Bodhisattva of Wutai Mountain are three sisters of the same root. In Tibetan, the four-armed Guanyin is called "Tuji Qinbo", so this Kannonji is also called "Tuji Qinbo Temple".

The sun is shining in the morning, and white clouds are floating in the blue sky. Standing on the observation deck of Kannonji, you can overlook the whole Guanyin Town, surrounded by endless mountains. The opposite mountain looks like an elephant. The elephant's body is a white Tibetan mantra made of stone, which is particularly spectacular in the bright sunshine.

Breathing heavily, we slowly climbed the high steps on foot. There are rows of white pagodas on the east side of the steps, and Mani stones depicting colorful scriptures are piled under the white pagodas. The temple is a two-story building, with one floor and one bottom. Today, there are few tourists in Kannonji. Lamas came in and out in twos and threes, and many Tibetan old people came to pay homage. Some of them wandered around the prayer corridor, while others sat in front of the temple.

Tashi led us to invite incense sticks and white hada from the small supermarket on the east side of Kanongji Square. First of all, we light incense in the incense burner and put it in the incense burner to make a bow. Then take off your shoes, hats and gloves outside the inner door of guanyin temple, and don't make any noise when you enter the hall. Your ringtone is set to mute. The golden Guanyin statue is enshrined in the solemn hall, and the hat of Guanyin Bodhisattva statue is made of gold, silver, coral, jade and other jewels. There are hundreds of butter lamps burning day and night in the hall, and there is also a copper lamp that can hold one thousand kilos of butter. There is a Lama on duty at the entrance to the main hall. The lamas all look serious. There is chanting in the main hall, and the deep Sanskrit adds mystery to the whole hall.

We learn from Tashi, kneel on the mat in front of Guanyin statue, offer Hada and kowtow to the Bodhisattva, and then circle the Bodhisattva silently with our hands folded clockwise. Tashi said, you can make a wish, and if it comes true, you have to come back and realize it. At this time, the Buddha incense fills the hall, and the Sanskrit sounds burst, which makes people's hearts quiet at once. I hope our wish can come true!

On the west side of the side door coming out of the main hall, there is a warp corridor. There are rows of huge purple warp tubes in the warp corridor, and people who come to warp speed are in an endless stream. The Lama in the temple is also chanting, walking around with beads in his hand. We also walked around the prayer wheel, and the central part of the cement brick on the ground was polished by the prayer wheel.

After passing through the Blessing Corridor, there are statues of lotus and peanuts and 103 Sakyamuni, and there are silver pagodas and scrolls on both sides of the hall. The lotus hall is resplendent and magnificent, dedicated to the master of lotus and peanut. The Lotus Hall has three floors, each of which is painted with exquisite thangka.

Tip: Guanyinqiao Town in Jinchuan is a very mature business district with many accommodations and restaurants. You can rent a car from Guanyinqiao Town to Kannonji. It takes more than two hours to walk, so it is difficult to pull down the high sea. Kannonji has no tickets at present.
